Tear trough procedure

Both under-eye bags and tear trough deformities can result in a tired and aged appearance. They can often occur together and are both associated with either loss of fat or a gain in fat in certain areas around the eyelid structures.

Dermal fillers are a great alternative to treating the under eye area, without the pain and cost of blepharoplasty surgery.

This involves the injection of dermal filler right above the eye socket bone. The filler is then massaged into the fatty tissues underneath the eye, filling in this depression from inside the skin. The procedure can rejuvenate the appearance of this area by plumping up hollow under-eye areas, while concealing dark circles by filling in the loose skin.
